Default Love my truck so much we are getting 16 of them!

I should say... the BOSS has ordered 16 of them!
I am being paid to run mine for biz use right now, he has compared fuel usage to the fleet of 2008 Chev/GMC over the same mileage, and the Ford is 10-20% consistently better. Then we compared the rest of the story:
Better tow capacity
Better hauling capacity
Better ground clearance
SYNC!
More backseat room (Crewcab)
and WAY better looks!
Plus GOVERNMENT MOTORS have brought nothing new to the table in their half-tons other than a tax on my income over the next how many years?!

Way to go FORD for bailing yourself out... a key reason we're buying FORD!

So bad new is I will be forced to drive a company vehicle now and will have to sell my personal one. Good news is I will be driving a new 2010 F150 4wd XTR Supercrew within 2 months.... me and 15 other employees!

Talking to my manager, guess corporate FORD stepped in and bumped his status from small fleet (<20) to major fleet status (>50) and it brought the pricing down to about $14000 less than MSRP sticker price.

Then they let you choose the dealer you want to deal with. Turns out we have a 1yr old dealership right across the road from our office. They took the deal and have thrown some maintenance perks at us as well - how convenient!

Looking forward to a new fleet of '10 F150's soon!

That is an awesome sounding work truck! I have the '10 SCAB XTR and it is a great looking, great driving truck. Talk about perks of the job...

Cool news. Why do you have to sell your personal truck?

Too bad your company didn't allow employees to get in on the sweet deal (ie. being able to buy at the fleet price).

wait, you get $14,000 off? or $1,400? seems like they would loose money if they took $14,000 off. anyways congrats sounds awesome

Don't forget, better reliability! My brother used to have a fleet of trucks for his business and he said that the Chevy's were atrocious when it came to reliability.
