Question lost my spare tire lock assembly

I guess i drove off with my spare tire lock assembly sitting on my bumper. Tascaparts wants $104 for a new assembly. Anyone know of a good aftermarket solution? I could put a generic lock like this somewhere on the tire itself, but I'd rather buy something that sticks in the hole by the license plate, like the original lock, to keep people from trying. i don't care if the lock matches my truck key or comes with a different key.

thanks, but that's still pretty pricey for such a simple part. too bad no one makes an aftermarket plug.

I wonder if a tow hitch receiver lock would work, just to plug that opening. I've never tried that route though.
