Default Loose feeling in steering column?

Has anyone else noticed some play in the steering column on cold mornings? My 2009 Lariat with 25,000 miles has had some loose feeling in the column the last few mornings now that temps are consistently getting into the upper 20s/low 30s at night. I don't hear any rattling or clunking it just feels like something is not tight. After I drive the truck for about 5-10 minutes and it warms up it goes away for the rest of the day. Alignment is good, lugnuts are tight, and everything else seems okay just weird that it only does it when it's cold for a few minutes then goes away.

I had a Chevrolet Z-71 and my wife had a GMC Yukon years ago that both had to have the intermediate steering shafts replaced due to clunking and loose play in the column. Anyway, I was just curious if anyone else has noticed this. I will let the dealer look at it sometime when I can leave it with them for a day.

Thanks in advance,
SCScrew
