Default Looking For Tips / Tricks for Windshield Light Bar Install

I've been through the threads but can't find anything that really outlines how to do the installation.

- Went with a 52 inch curved light bar.
- I'm going with the brackets that install in the door sill, not the roof.
- From what I've read I can run the wiring under the weather strip in the door sill.
- I think the brackets come with rivets. Any tips on installing those?
- Any other tips/tricks?

I've read tons of "yeah I did the install and it wasn't bad" and stuff like that, but not any real write-ups on it.

Thanks!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this in any of your research and your are free to do what ever you like to your truck, but just a heads up you will have a massive amount of wind noise from a light bar mounted above your windshield.

I know that wind noise and whistling will be an issue but I've got a few tricks to fix it. I had the same issues with a roof rack I put on my old Jeep. I'll try the things I have in mind and will post up results (good or bad) after I finally get it on. One thing I can tell everyone is that what may work on one mans truck (noisy light bar fix) may not work on the next man's. It's all trial and error and depends on lots of factors (angle the bar is sitting, etc). I'll keep my fingers crossed though.
