Default 2014 5.0 Vibration Issue

Have 2014 5.0 XLT SC, with 3500 miles and have vibration around 1100-1700 RPM at all speeds. Have had this back to the dealer 3 times and was told today that this is normal. I can tell you that my 2009 F-150 4.6 3V SC did not have any vibrations at 90,000 miles. Tires have been balanced twice but the vibration I dont think is tire related.

This is my 7th F-150 and we currently own these Fords 2014 Mustang GT, and 2012 Escape.

Really disgusted with this truck, I have had two unbiased drivers in my truck and can feel the vibration. I was in my friends 2010 F-150 4.6 3V and it did not have any vibration.

Dealer told me today that technician drove my truck and another 2014 F-150 and they were the same. This makes no sense if both trucks have the vibration that makes it OK and normal??

I bought the 2014 because I did not care for the 2015 redesign, the bed is shallower but guess it was a mistake.

Do a search and you will find a few threads discussing vibration. I would look at the driveline. Have it removed and the balanced checked at a driveline shop.

Thanks for reaching out about this, Rocket630. I'll get this escalated to the regional customer service manager for your area. Please send me a private message with your full name, VIN, servicing dealership, and best daytime contact number.

Default Vibration

Sounds like there are issues with many trucks..........I do know my 2009 did not have this issue. Sure is puzzling that no TSB have been issued or no recall.

Hard to have a single TSB for a "Vibration issue" that can be caused by A LOT of different things. Flat spots in tires, unbalanced tires, warped rotors, unbalanced driveline, etc etc.

I agree it would be hard to track it down......but its obvious that something is not normal. Easy to brush it off as normal.

Default 2014 Vibration

Well I was just told that is this normal for this model truck. I have 4000 miles on a new vehicle that can not be fixed. And was told they have many complaints on this issue. Who is going to start the class action on this one??

I am going to notify the Illinois Attorney Generals office to see what can be started.

Been a life long Ford customer and a stock holder.

The F-150 is the flagship vehicle and this is a major black eye.

Just contacted the Illinois Attorney Generals Office.
I did contact the dealer Saturday and was offered another new 2014, same as mine but they wanted $5742.00, this is ridiculous.
