How much to have Dent Wizard take the dents out? I had a truck that had hail damage when I was caught in a hail storm, and they did the work and you couldn't tell there was any hail damage.

I don't think it was anything that Dent Wizard could fix, the fender, hood, and roof looked like someone took a bat to it. They had baseball sized hail during a storm.

Line:X comes in 'standard 'and 'premium''

The standard will dull in the sun and weather. The premium is warranted against dulling for some period of time. My bed is the standard and is almost 3 yr and has not dulled .

Downside is that dirt sticks to its surface. Cleaning requires some brushing and a good sprayer. If you use commercial wash rack, soap leaves a residue that leaves white spots. I use my own power sprayer and follow with air gun at 100+ lb.

The dealer selling the repaired hail damaged truck is making money. His inventory was at least partially insured.

My question is how did he get away with providing a clean title ..... I had a car that was hammered in a hailstorm in Omaha. I bought it back fron the insurance company, but the state required that it be titled w/a salvage title

Since you asked, I think this is fine if your name is HillBilly Jim and you wear overalls and no shoes. I think otherwise it looks fairly absurd. I could see Jeff Foxworthy's friends driving it.

Of course my opinions are my own and may be shared by no one else.

This. If all the hail dents are going to be gone and you're paying thousands to get it resprayed, why do the truck in bedliner?

And $23k even seems alittle high if the damage is so bad that it looks like someone took a baseball bat to the hood. I paid $500 less than that for my new undented '13 stx.

I didn't think the price was that bad. Considering that it's a crew cab, 4x4, and the decked out 302 package. After selling my 2008 F-150, I played with the idea of getting another older F-150 and line-xing it out. I love the look and think that getting a new truck with a full factory warranty, clean title, and not having to pay any sales tax on this truck, I feel good about getting something different for such a low price. I did go back and forth on getting an undamaged one and then do this when it was older but I couldn't find one with the colors and trims that I like for anywhere less than $34.5K.
