D load range tires?

D load range tires?
I am deciding between three tires in stock or near stock size. Cooper Discovered AT3, BFG AT KO2, or Toyo Open Country AT2s. Most have 6 ply c load range and 10 ply e load range LT tires. Does anyone make an 8 ply d load range tire? I think the e load range tires might be a little overkill for me.

Unless you're towing heavy or need it for payload, E load tires ride like ****. I had AT2's and they were C load. Great tires and held up well on gravel roads and trails. Currently I have the stock D load range BFGs on my Raptor, and while I will be putting KO2s on it when they're released next month, I'm pissed they're only offered in E load range.

Terra Grappler XL range have a weight capacity of 2750#. That's 11,000# combined. I doubt that you'll tow/haul that much weight on a F150.

Working through this now too. I think I am going with a mastercraft hsx tour as I need a highway tire more than off road. I am going 116 load index which is 2756lbs per tire vs 2601 for wrangler sra.
