Default Fooling the TPMS system...:)

Ok everyone. No im not trying to bypass the system, or overide it or anything like that. I have a idea of how to fool the TPMS system. I must warn you, some of you may think my idea may be a little "red neckish" and some may think its a good idea. But first I have some questions...

1. Where is the receiver side of the system at? Where does the little sensor in the wheels going roundy round send it signal too? I need to know the locations of each receiver sensor in each four corners....and any explanation on how the stupid system works..ie..radio frequency or what ever it uses to send a signal.

2. Is there a battery in the sensor that can be replaced? IE..when a sensor battery dies, can I replace the battery or do I need to scrap the entire sensor?

I need to know this info before I go to the designing phase of my plan/idea. And I will post pictures of what im doing once I do it. ....im either going to look like a idiot or a genius...LOL

If the sensors only update when moving over 20mph then why did I have a low tire on a 2010 F350 and when I put air back in it after plugging and turned the ignition on, the "low tire" alarm went away?

Might need to take a grain of salt with anything you see on a random website (i.e. NOT a ford manual)

There is a battery in the sensors, they claim that the battery will last 10 years and is not replaceable with out changing the sensor.

But the sensors have changed, the sensors on my 2007 are banded onto the center area of the wheel, the newer trucks use the type where the sensor is mounted onto the valve stem. but both use this 10 year built in battery.

I bought extra sensors for my Bling Bling wheels, so when I put my stockers on for the winter I dont have to change the sensors, but with the older sensors like mine you have to reprogram the sensors every time you change the wheel. But I dont think you need to do that with the newer ones.

I just put a piece of electrical tape over the low pressure light during the winter

Good question ftruck. I have also had the same kind of thing with a truck sitting still and I put air in and it corrects it.....

Im not switching tires....so my light will stay on unless I put the sensor inside the new wheel and tire....and electrical tape on my dash inst a option...Some have taken their dash apart and put a piece over the light all together...but I dont want to do all that.

I think I have my path forward...

so in order for the sensors to work, do they have to be spinning inside the wheels? If so my idea is shot to hell... any help

i have seen where guys have taken pipe with threaded ends and add a air fiting, placed the sensor inside and filled with air to the right psi and then just store to in the truck some where
