Default Lift an extra inch or so

Hey I just got an 8 inch lift and my tires rub, was wondering what are some options to lifting an extra inch or so to get some extra clearance?

Need to know what your current set up consists of before anyone can help. For example, if your 8" of lift consists of a 6" lift with extended shocks with a 2" coil spacer already, then that limits your options for the front. Also need to know what tire size and wheel offset/backspacing you're running.

I believe it's a 6" plus an added leaf spring to make it 8", the wheels are 22x14 with 37x13.50 tires

But what about in the front? What do you have in the front? The add-a-leaf is for the rear. The front is a little more difficult to add to bc there's only a few options really for additional lift, and it depends on what you already have in the front. Sounds like you're working with a 6" lift, so to get to the 8" that I understand you have, you likely either have cranked coilovers or a 2" spacer lift on top of whatever strut set up you have.

What backspacing do your wheels have? That is likely what is giving you the rubbing issues (the wheel backspacing coupled with the wide 13.5 tire).

Well I guess it's just the coilovers cuz I don't see a 2" spacer and I think the offset is -76

I got your PM but will post in here so maybe someone else can also chime in eventually. So, you said it's a 6" Rough Country lift. My understanding, and from looking at their systems, is that they use a strut spacer to achieve the desired lift. I also took a look at the couple pics you have in your album and it DOES look like your lift is achieved with these spacers. I can see in one of the pics that your UCA angle is already a little steep due to the RCX system and spacers. If I remember right, Rough Country uses the same components for their 4" and 6" systems, but with the 6" lift, they use a taller spacer on the same 4" drop bracket and knuckles. This taller spacer on the 6" lift is basically the same as having a 4" kit then adding a 2" level on top. SO, I'm not 100% sure you have many options bc I believe the drop bracket is only 4". If it was a 6" drop, then you could use struts made for a 6" lift and add a level on top. OR get adjustable coilovers that you can crank to 8". Maybe someone can confirm that info about the Rough Country kit bc I'm not 100% sure on it.

The strut spacers I'm talking about are the tower looking pieces next to the knuckles in the pic below. I'm assuming your setup has them and it looks like it in one of your pics. But it's tough to tell for sure. Can you confirm that?

UARandy3 you're correct.

I don't know much you can do either. Interested if anyone chimes in knowing a way
