My heavy metal kit was $70 from ebay. It seemed to be extremely well built and the ride is about the same as factory. Also heard good things about hbs and autospring. Every kit is about the same it all comes down to preference and price IMO.

<p>Question: Of all the kits, which ones don't require cutting of the existing shock mounting studs? I want to be able to return it back to stock, should leveling have adverse effects on towing my trailer with weight distribution system.</p>

I did not have to cut anything for my rough country 2.5" leveling kit. Bolton install. Might require some sweat and beer to complete though.

There is some that require cutting? Last I checked they're all pretty much bolt on.

If you cut anything.....you did it wrong.

Also, for the new guys, somebody needs to say that when they say -3" block- that the block is not actually raising the back of your truck 3", because you remove the factory block that is either 1.5 or 2" tall. Maybe it's 1 or 1.5", either way, you get the idea.
