Default Leveling kits. Is one brand better than the others?

Hey folks. I'm looking at adding a 2.5 inch level kit to my 2012 4x4. Is any one kit better than the others? It seems like a straightforward product but you never know until you ask....

There are many ways to level out a truck, but spacers are the cheapest and probably most popular. Wouldn't do any hard off-roading with them, they are mostly for aesthetics and tire clearance. Brand wise they are all similar, I went with Rough Country for price and convenience.

I have installed just about every brand leveling kit out there and I find that for the price and quality you don't need to look at anything other than AutoSpring kits. autospringcorp.com

I have a 2.5 auto spring. I wouldn't go more than 2" again unless I did a coilover which is what I plan to do in a few months.

I'm currently debating whether to go with the 2" auto spring kit or their 2.5" kit. Just curious and looking for some info, what do you dislike about the 2.5" kit? Thanks!

The larger kit you add, the more stress you are putting on your suspension. Plus, I think 2.5 may get you nose high. I have a 1.5" AS in the front only and I have just a little bit of rake left. 2" would probably put me dead level.

2.5" kits on 4X4s put the CV shafts at a sharp angle. I always suggest 2" on 4X4s. With stock rear blocks they sit perfect with a 2" in the front.

I think Ill be installing a leveling kit next summer. I dont like the rake my truck currently has. I just dont want to loose the ride. I already lost some of it going to 10plys.

I had the 10 plies on my truck for a month before installing level. Feels exactly the same with the 1.5 AS.
