Leveling Kit with 6"BDS Lift
Hey guys I'm running a 2013 FX4 on 35x12.5x20's with a 6"BDS lift. I don't remember what offset I'm running but my problem is my front tires rub on my metal bumper on both sides when making a turn at certain angles. The 4x4 shop that installed my lift said they wouldn't install a 2" leveling kit with my 6" BDS lift because it would put something in the front end in a bind and if I ever hit a rough road, it would snap something in my front end. I work in the oil field and travel down bumpy *** roads all the time so if this is true, I don't want to mess up my truck. But I don't want to ruin $450 tires or my bumper either. Any input on this?

I'm putting a front set of Bilstein 5100s on mine this summer.

You are running the same exact set up as I am, down to the tires, wheels, and lift.... You don't rub on the bottom outside edges of your front metal bumper? Are you talking about the adjustable leveling shocks they offer?

Haha, good setup. Fortunately, it has never rubbed, but I would like to lift slightly in the front.
Yup, the adjustable shocks.

I didn't see any adjustable struts that would fit our 6" lifts... I know they make a 2.5" lift, but because of the 6" lift, we would need an 8" strut... The 2.5" adjustable struts won't work correctly

Thanks, I could have sworn I saw someone with them on a 6" lift.

I have a 2" leveling kit on my 6" zone offroad kit, brake lines are at there max and balljoint is at a crazy angle but my 37's just about ripped my front bumper off with just a 6 inch would love to do coilovers but interested in the bilsten setup as a cheaper route.
