There looks like a LOT better approach angles maz226, but at the expense of maybe getting a stick or shrub jammed into the CV boots, depending on the kind of off roading you do.
It looks like he has a front skid plate, which should protect most of the low lying front end parts other than the suspension.
I've personally never been a fan of the giant bumpers, unless they are on big lifts with huge tires.
ADD makes a few low profile designs in various configs. I have been looking at a few, but the Canadian dollar is low and drives the price way too high for me.

Another poster pointed out the lack of suspension/driveline component coverage, but most of your aftermarket bumpers are going to be shorter on the sides to provide better approach angles, so you won't be losing much.

I took a different route than most others here and went with a "pre-runner" style bumper. The more sleek style won out over the bulky Road Armor types for me. I also saved about 200ish lbs over some of the more bulky options. 2.5" Level 315/70/17 Tires Rogue Racing Rebel bumper with 40" curved LED bar mounted inside.
