Default Level Quick Question

thanks in advance for the information.

So as this is my First truck i have owned I was wondering if i could use an add a leaf kit and rear block together?

Planning on buying Blistens 5100 for getting lift in the front and a 3 inch block in the back. Trying to keep that .5 inch in the back for towing.

I don't see why not. But why not go adjustable Bilstein's all the way around? If you have upgraded shocks on the front and not the back, there's a possibility that the front will handle better than the rear, and throw off the stability of the truck slightly.

If you're raising the back anyway, just get the Bilstein adjustable rear shocks as well, which raise the back 1".

SHOCKS DO NOT INCREASE RIDE HEIGHT!

Yes you can run AAL and Blocks.

adjustable's in the rear will not help...waste of money...they do make 5100 series non adjustable for the rear...shocks and struts do not hold your truck up...coil springs and leaf springs do...

Bilstein 5100 Series Ride Height Adjustable shocks:

"With the use of multiple snap ring grooves to position the spring seat at different heights the vehicles ride height can be changed anywhere between 0-2.5” depending on application."

They do list a rear shock that's supposed to adjust the height of the rear up to 1".
False advertising?

Edit - nevermind, the rear ones they list for 0-1" lift are not adjustable - they're designed for trucks that have a rear lift installed.

That's because your blown shocks were allowing your leaf springs to sag..
