Let's See Your Tow Mirrors!

If that is the biggest trailer you are towing, I would stick with the smaller mirrors which really aren't that bad. I am on the fence with the tow mirrors. I park my dump trailer between my house and shop which can be a tight fit with the heat pump next to the house. The tow mirrors seem to have a little bit of a skew in the lower panorama mirror. It is sometimes hard to determine the angle of the trailer. I only have this issue with the passenger mirror. I will sometimes adjust the upper mirror down and focus it on the axles. My mirrors are aftermarket so I don't know if the OEM are better.
So far I really like them with black rims

Here's mine. Didn't want them at first and hated the size but they came on the truck. I only pull a pop up, so didn't really think they were needed. Considered swapping them out for awhile. But now that I have driven with them for a year I think I am used to them.
The downside for me is that I have to pull one of them in every night to get in the garage, which isn't a huge deal. I was just glad it still fit in the garage without having to pull them both in. Didn't think about that when I bought it. They are nice for everyday driving and give lots of visibility and are awesome for backing. I think I would miss that most if I got rid of them. Plus, we are probably going to get a bigger camper at some point.

Good luck with your decision.

I can't say that I have had many issues in parking spots, although I usually try to park out when I can, especially at work. If the spot is kind of tight, I might pull one or both in after I am parked just so people don't mess with them. But I don't do that often. Probably any issues would be for the other car trying to get in with the mirror and I wouldn't be around for that lol.

Hi everyone. I have a 2009 Platinum and was wondering if anyone here who swapped their mirrors are looking to sell the originals. Power fold, heated, puddle lamp, auto dim, chrome top and all that
Thanks

The first few f150s I drove had the max tow and we're 2014 so they had the marker light which makes them 100% better looking imo. I've thought about adding some, but they would have to be power fold as I sometimes go thru automated car washes. I just did a trip, was a little nervous as it was only the 2nd time I've towed and the first with this truck and trailer so new the paint was tacky when I picked it up. Stock mirrors worked perfect for me, and I sometime treat the ford like the jeep, and the little wider mirrors would have a very hard life.
