I have these: http://www.n-fab.com/products/sfID1/.../productID/338 While I really like the looks, they are slippery as snot when wet. I installed some skateboard tape but the small strip want enough, I have to go back and install more. The other issue I have is the step is quite close to the bar. Normal street shoes fit but wear a boot ( I wear muck boots) and they dont fit. Just that much less surface area to step onto.

Thanks very much! Good to know they hold up in winter and cold conditions! Although they are pricey, I'm seeing lots of great feedback on them.

These were the ones that really caught my eye, but if you say they are hard to find and close to the truck, they may be s worthless choice?

i have the nfabs in my garage now and gonna put them on hopefully tonight. went with nfabs for the price and love the look. im thinking in the summer i may line x bars and bottom couple inches of truck. should help with grip. i will have pics soon...
