E4= vermillion red

PQ= race red, first appeared on f150's in '11

Your right my bad, I Meant E4 was Vermillion Red AND Cardinal
Red. Obviously on my 2009
its also called "Bright Red Clearcoat" as i have all the original Paper Work.. My truck and My Cousin are 2009 & 2011 and you cant tell them apart. So Idk whats going on with this Ford Paint stuff.

After 2011 E4(F1 bright/cardinal red was it's former name and basically the same thing) vermillion is mainly used on fleet or XL level trucks. So it's still used, just not on higher trims. Race red is more orange than vermillion

Yeah im still worried because If you look at my truck or pics than i see that Orange red your talking about. There's a grill i wanted but to have it Shipped (its race red) and have it not Match up against my hood would be a waste...

V ery true. In some shade the race red does look orange.

You said you have an 09. So like you I have E4 vermillion. I wouldn't buy a PQ race red grille, unless you're open to getting it painted.
