Mines been off for 3 years, and 35K miles, no harm done.
Yes, it seems to give a little taller stance, but it's just a nice looking illusion.

The owners manual even states something about removing it for offroad use.

Hey Erdvm1, Those new rims and rubber made one hell of a difference.

It's little things like the level, the airbags, the tint that are subtle but all add up.
It really is night and day what a small amount of money and time can do to a truck.
