Had to do the wheels 1 by 1, I'm just not set up at home to pull more than that off the truck at once. Used the pre-dip spray you can get online then rubbing alcohol to clean up each wheel, had also run through the car wash that morning.
First one was WAY over prepped, spent too much time - taped of the tire, newspaper, etc. Dropped cotton ***** into the lug nut holes and taped off the valve stem. Started with a super light coat and went heavier each time, 4-5 coats, about 8-10 mins between each coat. That's the only time consuming thing given I wanted to take the wheels off to do it. Happened to be swapping out emblems at the same time so it didn't seem so bad.
Wheels 2-4 I just pulled off, cleaned up, then taped off the valve stem and dropped cotton ***** in place, didn't worry about the over spray onto the tire (sprayed in a way that I didn't have much, and what was there wasn't thick enough to even notice, and if it had been I would've just peeled it off). Same number of coats and drying time. Spray steady & even and try not to get stuck in one spot. My spray patterns constantly changed and it always dried way more uniform than it looked wet.
Overall, I love the way they came out, just keeping an eye on how well it holds up. I know the reports are great and I have no doubts about them, but most people say they went through 2-4 cans while I barely went through 1.5, so I'm curious if my 2nd-5th coats of spray were heavy enough.
I think my grille is next, maybe black with 1-2 coats of silver metalizer

Your truck is looking great, I like the lower grille you got to match the upper. I like it much better on your truck than it ever looked on mine!
