2013 5.0 STX 4x4 I picked up last Saturday. 14k on the clock. My family asked if I put the ol' Ranger on steroids...of course I sad yes....it was WAY over due. Wish I had pulled the trigger a long time ago...I LOVE this truck, Until I get the weather to detail, these are the best pics that I can post. Glad to be a part of such a great forum. BIG props to Tmajor for legging down the auto-headlight SCM/BCM hacks!

I bought what I believe is the grill surround/insert for a Tuxedo Black FX series F150 off eBay for $250 including shipping. The surround was already PTM. I swapped out the black insert for the chrome one already on my truck to get the current look, which I love. You must be careful in the removal of the grill assembly. There is a youtube video for it. Doing is slowly with nylon trim removal tools (available on ebay for about $5) will prevent the clips from breaking.

However, separating the insert from the grill is a bit trickier. I have a method for doing it and it worked twice. Once to separate my original assembly and then again to separate the purchased assembly. Happy to discuss it with you as it is too involved to type out. But, it really isn't complicated, just need some time and patience. PM with contact info and I'll explain what I did. I haven't seen a youtube video for what I did, but there may be one.
