Prob bump that number up a little... level + install + wheels + tires was closer to 3k... subtract tires and you're still quite a bit over a grand....

My wheels and tires were right at 2k. I originally had nitto terra grapplers
You can find cheap level kits on eBay for around $100 or look in the for sale section. The install is pretty simple but then you will spend another $50-100 on a alignment

I don't think I posted that everyone who buys a level kit should install it them self. I said its pretty simple, I guess I should have added a disclaimer...

Lol, there is only one way to learn. Buy some tools and parts and get your hands dirty!

ha. funny you say that. i have a strong aversion to service personnel. i know there are good ones out there but i trust none. i always think i am getting ripped off. i didn't even want to pay landscapers a few hundred bucks to build a garden and haul a few yards of dirt for me so i did it myself. i redid my own master bathroom (there was no way i could have afforded someone else to do what i did) but now i am coming to the realization that somethings i just cannot do. i make real good money and for a reason. i am good at what i do. i need to accept the fact there are others that are good at what they do and my time is worth it to pay them. this is one of them. i put too much of my money in this truck to make it another one of my projects. i think i am getting old! sorry to sidetrack here.

my wheels will be in this weekend and i am excited to pay someone to put them on and level my truck!
