Didn't go through all the pics yet but looking to see if anyone has placed the black 6 bar grille insert (from an fx4) on an xlt w/chrome package, and kept the chrome surround. Was trying to see what that might look like if anyone had a pic..... Thanks.

How is it?

I see a lot of inchannel visors throughout these pictures. Any one that has them, how do you like them? Does it give your auto windows problems when it goes up?

I've have them on this truck and I had them on my '10. No problems with the auto windows at all. I wonder if the people having problems never let them "settle" in for at least 24 hours. The AVS instructions state to leave your windows up for at least 24 hours before trying to put them down or up. My ONLY complaint on my '10 was that they began to leave little scratches at the top of the window. Wasn't really a big deal though because you couldn't see it unless the window was partially down. Not really ALL that noticeable either. Otherwise, I love it and definitely prefer the look over the regular visors.

I didn't have any issues with it holding up. I thought it looked good when I first did it but the color gets kinda dull even for a flat black. If I ever did it again I would probably throw a coat of clear/gloss over the top.

I second this. I have an XLT with the 6bar chrome, putting HD headlights in this week, wondering if anybody has this combo? I want to keep some of the chrome so possibly the surround and go with black inserts
