I also heard Tony say he saw a few 2wd's with a block or a extra leaf. Seems like theres no ryme or reason from one truck to the next of the same yr & models. Lol
09-14 4X4 F-150 have 1.25" blocks in the rear. The 2WD do not have a block at all. ExtremeFord4X4's truck is a 4X4. I removed the block to drop it 1.25". And then i did a flip kit which is 5.5".

So 1.25+5.5= 6.75"

The only difference in the rear of a 4x4 as opposed to a 2x4 is the 1-1/2" blocks and longer u-bolts/shocks. So yeah they are higher stock. The blocks were taken out a long time ago and at first we used 3" shackles. If the blocks were left in with the flip kit it would be sitting at 7" of drop. Because blocks with a flip kit will lower it instead of lift it. That would be nice but I really don't want to c-notch my truck especially with a boxed frame. Right now it's at 5.5" of drop in the rear and with a factory shackle it will be at 6".

Ok I got ya's.. So that 6.75 drop is about the same as mine with a 5.5 because the 4x4 is higher stock. Rojjer that ... Looks Great!!

Correct I guess I could have been more detailed.

4X4s sit 1.25" higher in the rear from the factory due to them having a 1.25" block. When installing the flip kit the block is removed so you get a total of 6.75" of drop from stock height on a 4X4. On a 2WD with the same kit you get 5.5" of drop because you already started out 1.25" lower than the 4X4 because 2WDs don't come with blocks.

Thanks for the feedback from those of you that responded. I went with a Nitto 420 275/45r22 tire and love it! Just waiting on center caps now since I was sent the wrong ones.
