Trouble after recall fixed
Has anyone else experienced a “clunk” when slowing and accelerating after they had the recent transmission recall corrected? I don’t remember ever experiencing this prior to having the dealership fix the recall for the “sudden downshift” they claimed might happen and I have spoken to a friend who has noticed the same “clunk” in his truck after the fact.... it’s very minor and sometimes isn’t noticeable but when you do notice it, it feels like the transmission is either slipping or like a U-Joint is making the noise.

This is the reason I’m not having the recall done, Ford always screws it up, I don’t trust them.
