Nope, once I have the amp fully mounted its about 2 1/2 inches away from the rear seat and I ran that amp for an hour testing and it barely gets warm.

The pics don't illustrate the space well since I have it held up with one screw so its sitting off the board a lot

did you just use self tapping screws drilled into the back wall?

no actually there were 2 holes already there on the middle section that holds the window motor. I used 2 toggle bolts (ill have to check the size) , measured up the mdf to the 2 holes to lock in at the top. then at the bottom there was a hole used for the plastic mounting clips, I just made sure my mdf was wide enough for the corner to catch that hole and bolted it in.

doing this I made no need holes to the truck and the board is very secure. oh and I put a small rubber foot on the right bottom so it wouldn't fall free.

no problem ill take some pics tomorrow of the back wall and board setup as I now have to send the amp in for repair

apparently there is a voltage offset issue on channel 4 and anything I plug in there is getting cooked like those eggs in the "this is your brain on drugs" commercials from the 80s....between channel 3 and 4 there is a millivoltage difference of 480mv.

To Red13, Now that has me concerned about causing a fire

Here ya go, where the bolts are at the top of the board, directly behind them is the pre-existing holes. Good luck this weekend!

No Problem , again I credit others on this forum who have done some execellent work, I've spent hours researching so mine would come out looking halfway decent, happy I can share

While I was taking pictures I decided to do a new board and I marked off all the cuts for the exact fit....then carpeted it...I gotta get a lot better before I do the sub, man I suck at carpeting

btw, the 2 rectangle holes is what you want to use.
