Thanks. That's what I was looking for. I am trying to sell the topper idea to my wife. I just had a hard time finding the pics of the window open. Thanks again everyone for your help. Now I need to see if they will come down some on the price...$2950 installed here in Fairbanks Alaska.

Greetings from a fellow Fairbanksan. Was that quote from Autotrim? Six Robblee's in Anchorage is a Leer dealer, perhaps you can have them quote you a leer cap shipped up here to the local Six Robblee's on South Cushman.

Also try Custom Truck in Anchorage, I purchased an XQ. I was very unhappy with the design with how it closed and sealed around the tailgate. For some reason the XL had a different design and they allowed me to return the cap and order the XL. They May have fixed this design flaw for the XQ by now but Custom Truck was great to deal with. I will also say you won't regret it. I purchased the cap because I do a lot of outdoor activities and needed to keep gear dry and also have two big dogs. I use the bed of my truck more now than when I didn't have a cap. Also when I initially purchased the XQ was for 2450, XL for 2250.

I feel sorry for you guys up there on pricing mine was 500 less than the cheaper one and a grand less than the other. I guess it's the price you pay for living in a beautiful area combined with me living less than an hour from the manufacturer. Good luck and definitely shop around and don't be afraid to deal with them. There are several good caps out there. I am a bit partial to the leer. But also look at century if available by you guys. Also look at ARE and snug top. Century will be less expensive but still quality for sure. Winter is coming and it takes a good 3-4 weeks to get. Maybe longer up there.

Good idea about going to anchorage...may be worth it in the long run. Plus, I can get some real food while I'm down there.

I'll check out the quote and ship thing as well.
