Default LED ideas and help!!

Alright! All of you electrical gurus out there, I need your help! I have 15 of these LED lights. They are very small. I can put them anywhere in the truck. Have any of you put them in the door handle areas to light up the doorhandles? I can also put them other places if you guys have cool ideas. As I said I have 15 of these so I have a lot of options. I also bought two dimmers so that they will not be totally bright. The LEDs are a nice accent white. Below I have attached a picture of one. I have 15. I have tried wiring them to the doorhandles because that was my initial plan. But I could not find any wires that would work for this in the door. It looks like the only option is for me to go through the firewall tube in the door which does not look easy. Have any of you done this before?

Check to see if you have the puddle lights in your mirrors? If so, those lights come on whenever you use the unlock on your fob. Splice into those for power.

Ya that would work. I'm okay with them being on when the car is running though. Do any of you guys know the color for the power wires going to the speakers? I have the sony premium sound system. On a 2011 f-150.

Your best bet is to wire it to the puddle light in the mirrors. The speakers are not powered at the speakers (no amp at the speaker in the door) so you will not have power going to the speakers. If you want them on all the time... you can check if the power locks or windows are positive... if so... there should be 12V positive there.

Where do you mean by everywhere? I already have them in footwells and cup holder. And in the bed. I just want some slight accent lights now. But thanks for the pictures. Looks cool. I'll post some pictures when I do it. I'm waiting on dimmers

Ahh, I didn't realize they were already in the footwells and cup holders. You could tie them into your floor lights. Thats how I ran mine, or you may want to go a different route

What wire did you tap into in the door? I think I'm gonna use the speaker wire, that's really the only one that seems to work. What other wires can be found in the door?
