LED Door Sill Kickplates: Purchase & Install info, Wiring Diagrams, Warranty, Samples

Not working...?
Hello everyone, I know this is an old post, just hope someone is still around. So I'm trying to wire up some LED lights under my running boards so that when I open the doors the will light up the ground around us. I followed the wiring diagram on the first page but they are staying on all of the time. I'm wiring the driver's side to the rear driver door sill. Yellow/green hot and thin black/yellow ground, but again they stay on the whole time, even when the doors are closed. Can anyone help me?

You're using the wrong wires. See post #61.
Dang these things are expensive! I'm just going to do my original plan of EL tape under the factory sill plates with the "F150" cut out.

I'll scout ebay before buying to see if they are any cheaper - last year in this thread there were reports of $41 a set.
A question for those of you that have wired these in - I've got a '14 and know the right wires in the passenger floor board, but how did you get the wires to the other 3 doors? I figure the passenger front door will be very easy.

So used the diagram in post 1 and didn't work. Lights would stay on and the light output was weak. Saw the post #61 and they have different color on wires. Has anybody tried it on a 2013 lariat?!
