LED conversion in progress 2010 XLT
I have a 2010 f150 and have been looking online this evening for reverse lights (921) which I have found plenty of in LED. And cargo lights which are a 912 which I cannot find in LED... Any suggestions appreciated. Will Also be looking for heads and fogs in the near future. Any advise also appriciated.

i prefer to spend a little extra and go with VLED bulbs, had all of mine for almost 5 years and no issues of burning out.

Has anyone used the Cree headlight bulbs from F150leds.com? I'm under the assumption the deflector in the halogen housing doesn't work very well with LED's.

if you do wanna run LED in stock housing, i would get a bulb that can be rotated in the housing after its secured. i used Ijdmaster in my housing and had no issue. but if you want to get the morimoto LED headlights, they spent years developing them to there standards.

I currently have these (https://www.gorecon.com/product.php?...EADLIGHT-BULBS) installed in my truck. Your assumption is correct about the stock deflectors. It's not that they don't work well, they work too well. I had to adjust the headlights down a considerable amount and they are still pissing off people I follow and those coming at me. They accomplished everything that I wanted in that they are bright and light the road well ahead and to the sides. The high beam on these, in particular, isn't very "high" meaning that they don't come up and reach out. On high they just seem to get "wider".
The problem with using the stock deflectors with these leds is that you can't correctly focus the beam so that everyone is happy.
