I am sorry for the laziness but I do not want to read through 83 pages of posts to try to find my answer.

I am about to install LED bed lights on my 2013 F150.

Can anyone tell me what colors the wire for the cargo light is? Also which side of the cab does the wire run down?

Thanks for you help.

Grey/purple right on the drivers side rear door if you have a screw.

I used one of these rubberized pin switches. It requires a 3/8 - 1/2" or so hole which was large enough for me to fish all the wire through without having to remove the tail lamp. I didn't even bother to put a screw in the secondary hole. It held itself in perfectly well.

Yes, I removed the tail light to get access to everything, there is plenty of room to get to the wiring. I have had a little issue with corrosion. It stopped working until I wiggle it a little bit to get it to come on again.
