It does give a large addition of light with accompanying the 20" bar in my bumper. I went with a cheaper bar as I wasn't sure how I was going to like it. Now that I know fitment is pretty good, I may opt for a better quality bar. A lot of guys are now placing 30" bars mounted to the grille. I mainly use the bars at our camp where light is scarce. The more the better, especially during hunting season

I'll let you know in a week. I picked up a 30" hanningled light bar for behind the grille. The bar is huge and 15,000 lumens can't hurt. Lol. It looks like you can mount it right up to the grille so I don't think you will lose any light output, or very minimum anyways.

These bars are great ....
These Big bright light bars put out a ton of light that you can't use 95% of the time your driving the truck . For the cost of a good light bar , there are plenty of other useful mods to spend that kind of money on first .... but I do have one but its a sm 12" 6200 Lm led bar I mounted behind my Licence plate that I have used once in 6 months .. they have to be covered in Ca when on road ... so I have to remove the plate/bracket when I want to use it and that aint often ... So far its been worthless as **** on a boar I Would spend the money on something that you can use on road .. all the time . But whatever floats it for you ....

In the winter it is dark at around 4pm and until 8:30 am. Living on an acreage driving back roads the extra lighting will be nice. Plus we do not need lights to be covered. Lol. We have strict gun laws, but can have all the lights we want.
