Default LED Ambient Lighting

Thinking of doing my own Blue LED footwell ambient lighting in my 2012 Blue Flame FX4 screw. I plan on running it with a small switch. Wondering if anyone has done this mod and can share pictures of where they mounted the LED strips and how long (number of LED's) are needed for the effect. If you have the ford installed kit a few pictures might help me also. Thanks

I did this setup this past week. With an aftermarket kit from eaglelight. Right now its just the front floor that are illuminated. They are controlled by a wireless remote and I have the sensor hidden under the center console lock. All the wiring is in the console for the time being. I've got some extention wires and rear led strip coming. Ill take some pics and upload them later today

Forgot to add these are rgb strips so they can do many colors along with fading/flashing

The LED strips under the floorboards are temp mounted until I can get the extension wires, but you get the idea. The total cost at this point is around $70 bucks, but I already had the eaglelight kit in my theater room so I re-purposed that part which included the 2 strips and controller and remote for $50. the same kit or parts can be found much cheaper these days.

The only part I haven't figured out yet if what wire to tap in to to get them to turn off when the rest of the truck lights turn off. Currently plugged into the 12v plug allows them to stay on until I turn them off at the remote.
