ZAIO is a great product for outdoor vehicles, i use their entire line. I also have been experimenting with blackfire products, which i like a bit more than zaino, because they come off easier than the zaino products and look just as good. the key is to claybar, wash, polish, wash, and then do multiple coats of sealant. it takes a solid weekend to do it, but you would not believe the results!

Select the paperclip (Attachments); then 'upload' the bmp, jpg, etc.

I wash, and may do a cleaner (clear coat cleaner) then a polish. To me, the key is mirco fiber rags!! Drop it, and toss it- get a new one. THe rag is sooooo important.

Nice job hemi - beautiful truck!

Sean - I completely agree about the microfiber. It's also important to get the 'correct' microfiber. Most of the crap towels at Wallymart are cheap and can scratch the clear coat. I've even found some that do a much better job on glass.

I wash first, then claybar. Sealant/polish applied by orbital buffer. Then one coat of wax, applied by orbital buffer. Lastly, I spray a liquid wax (detailer's mist) and lightly buff to a perfect shine. After each wash, the vehicle gets the liquid wax treatment after being dried off.

how long does this take? i washed my truck at the car wash and then dried it and it took 30 min just to dry it using an absorber.

I find that NOT doing a wax/polish on a windy/dusty day helps too! That way you cannot grind the grit into the clear coat and create those spider webs and such.

Rags- cloth diapers (clean ones! ) are also very good detailing rags.

Also with microfiber- do NOT use a Bounce sheet when drying these- the micro hooks will trap harsh fibers from the Bounce sheet and make them less effective.

It may also add 5HP and 2 MPGs
