Largest Volume Ford Dealer in USA/World
I noted with interest a couple of days ago when another member here spoke of how large the Ford dealer was, in his medium sized town, in the mid-west region of the US.
While many dealers claim to be #1, usually it is in their city, county, or state; or maybe #1 in Fleet sales, or some other niche aspect of the business.
However, when all is said and done and when all the claims are analyzed, you must look at the total sales volume of Ford motor vehicles (cars and trucks) and that honor belongs to Galpin Ford in Van Nuys, CA (Los Angeles City). They have won the volume sales title for 21 straight years now.
My oldest son, who lives/works in L.A. has bought his last two vehicles from them and is very happy with sales and service. I always get a good deal at my (closest) dealer in Folsom, CA, in part, because I tell them I will drive down to Galpin if they won't give me the deal I want....which always provides me with an instant 'body-language' reaction from the sales manager!
Their current inventory of Fords includes 222 new ('10 and '11) F150's, as of today. My local dealer has 21 in stock.

Woodhouse Ford in Blair, NE has 380 2011 F-150's, 163 F-250, 138 F-350, and 11 F-450's. They have 1053 new 2011 Ford vehicles in stock. I am not sure how this equates to sales volume but they sure have a larger inventory. I have purchased 2 trucks from them in the past but there deals have really gone downhill, especially on my last new truck purchase a month ago (not from them/ I gave them a shot).

Exactly what special treatment does a "Tasca Ford" Get? I really do not think that when a vehicle comes off the line if it is designated for final delivery for Tasca Ford, they do anything special. Proof Please....

Got mine from Blair over a year ago....very little hassle (had zero time for games and let them know before I drove up there) and saved over 14K off MSRP. The other dealers around Omaha couldn't/wouldn't come anywhere close.

Dealer allocation is based on sales volume. The more new vehicles a dealer sells, the more "slots" their orders get in the scheduling process. When Tasca or Galpin or any other high volume dealer places an order, it probably sails right through scheduling as long as parts are available. Mom & Pop Ford in East Armpit, [fill in the backwards state of your choice], doesn't get as many scheduling slots.
