2015 F-150 sport 20” wheel on 2012 F-150 w/ wheel spacer
So I understand the issues with wheel spacers and the controversy with them but I have moved to at 2015 F-150, sport 20” wheel which by spec those wheels have a larger bore hub size, I understand they would fit ok on a 2012 F-150, but once I put the wheel spacers which are made for my 2012 hub bore size.
While I understand it will work but is the small size difference something to worry about? Again I am not asking about wheel spacers in general, for those asking I am using 1.5” hex auto parts billet aluminum spacers with 10.9 lug grade.
Or am I overthinking all of this?

I thought OEM wheels were all the same hub size, 87mm. What specs are you seeing?

The bore size is the same. The stud diameter is the same. The only difference is the 04-14 F150s have 14MM with a 2.0 thread pitch where the 15-Current have 14MM with a 1.5 thread pitch.

From what I can see is the 2015-new is 87.1mm hub bore and the years below that are 86.5. Maybe I misread or the source in which I am looking at is not correct, here is the link:
https://wheelssize.com/wheels/ford/f-150/#2012
can anyone verify? because if this is true I assume that this does not make my truck hubcentric any longer.

IDK, 2015 wheels have been my main wheels for 5 years. The only detriment I've seen is it gave me covid.
