Was at the dealer today handing in my lease returned Ford Edge and inquired about the new 5.0 3.73 Screw Kodiak being built for me.. they said it looked like a four week turnaround. Nice.
I told him I am seeing a lot more Kodiaks on the lots now, and they aren't sitting there long. It would appear the colour is catching on.

Show Your Love of Kodiak Brown!
One of our beautiful brown trucks is up for nomination for 'Truck of the Month' . See - https://www.f150forum.com/f32/nominat...2182/index163/ - and vote for my friend Carabidae and his nicely modded truck (assuming you like it of course!). My post is No.1622

Finally had some good sun today and got mine washed, had it 3 weeks now. Love how the KBs look in the sun.

Like how the color changes from black to metal flake in the sun

The Kodiak brown did look great when cleaned and offered a different look sunny/cloudy..I just couldn't handle the constant efforts to keep clean, seeing the swirls, scratches, water spots, dark colors are a magnet for dust/dirt..it just wore me down on the time spent on trying to keep it looking good. There is no nicer color at night when clean, it would just shine in parking lot,, But your truck does look good, and good luck with it..

I get mine done once every couple of weeks, and have a polymer coating on it from the same shop... keeping it looking fresh is easy with a quick hand wash in the driveway and a spray enhancer... using good products like these available throughout North America... http://www.autobahnsalon.com/ and
and https://www.facebook.com/pages/Autob...99947366706286 and http://www.autobahnsalon.com/products-menzerna
Putting on the polymer makes washing a breeze and protects the original finish, like a wrap almost. DIY requires an orbital for best results, one that will not burn. Autobahn can provide advice, and the products.
Again, once on, it is just as easy keeping the Kodiak Brown looking showroom fresh as any other colour, including white. We are deep into winter up here, with snow, slush and salt and it rinses off easily.
