Default Oil leak help

So I came out to the truck today and noticed oil blowback on the front valence. Got under the truck and saw oil near behind the driver side fog light.

I used the the search feature and it sounds like it might be the trans cooler leaking oil. It seems to be leaking right where the tubing goes into the trans cooler. Or at least I think it’s the trans cooler. Initially I thought it was the CAC where the tubing went, but the search made me think it’s actually the trans cooler.

Anyone have any advice on how to pinpoint the leak and what could be the causes?

2013 3.5 Ecoboost 4x4 with tow package and e locker.

I am still under my extended warranty. I just bought the truck in June. Due to go in for “the works” this week and wanted to know what I need to tell them so they don’t try and screw me and to make sure they ESP doesn’t try to deny the claim.

Hey Lex;
You mentioned that CAC. Dose yours have the “weep hole” drilled into it? Mine does and I get the condensation “mist” on the back of my air dam and that’s normal with the weep mod. If not, you can obviously count that out. Your best bet would be to clean it up real good. Maybe a can of gunk and a trip to the coin op high pressure car wash. Once it’s all cleaned up, check it daily and look for new residue. What color is the oil? Can you tell?

Hey brother. I have not drilled the weep hole. And I don’t see any evidence of a weep hole being drilled by first owner.

The oil oil is definitely brown. Not dark but a light brown color. I might try and run it through one of those washes tonight.

Not yet. Been a little busy with high school basketball tournaments. Should have time once Kentucky loses in the ncaa or after the tourney is over if we happen to win it all.
