Default King Ranch vs Platnium

Which would you prefer and what are the differences other than seats, wheels, and running boards? I've heard the platinum's are built better such as having more sound deting material, better quality latches, etc. I don't know if this is true but I wouldn't think it would be.

I honestly don't buy into the "higher trims have more sound deadening" argument. My XLT is luxury car quiet on the road even at 75 mph.

If I were to pick between the two, I would take the King Ranch. Probably because I love the KR interior. And the fact that I like it rugged nature being its named after a huge ranch in Texas lol. Nothing wrong with a Platinum though, those are sharp looking trucks too

I dont't know if the cab of any vehicle can get anyql quieter than my XLT. If it has more deadening I don't see it being a deal breaker.

I choose platinum. I like the painted bumpers and the new grille. I prefer the interior as well. The power folding steps are a nice feature.

King Ranch because I love the two-tone. Not big on the Platinum tailgate either. But honestly you can't go wrong with either

Better Quality, that is BullS***... If you want a road truck, get the Platy. If you want a more working style truck, get the King Ranch. The only difference between the two other than the obvious differences are: Rain Sencing Wipers on the Platy, Automated Steps, and a fancy tailgate plate. My King Ranch has the same windshield and sound deading material as the Platy. That's the only differences...

Any truck can be used as a work truck. A platinum is still the same truck as a XL, just with a lot more features.

I believe the KR has the heated rear seats as well as the nice actual leather, unlike the fake "pleather" the other trucks get
