The 10" sub by itself is a good setup...Got mine from Levittown Ford through the forum.
There are two more kits, one with another amp to power the doors, and then the big boy kit that replaces all the door speakers as well as the sub. It's not as "fancy" as some of you other guys that have pieced together great systems. The ease of install of these kits is definitely worth a few hundred bills itself.

I installed the sound gate system a few months ago. It was $1200.00 from my dealer here in Canada. I like the factory fit and no hassle install. It sounds great to my ears nice bass and clear mids and highs . Not the system you want if you want to be rattling windows in houses as you drive by.

If you were to do it again, would you buy the same system? Did you keep the stock speakers.

I was driving home today after work listening to some of my favorite music and thought why did I not do this sooner! I have the complete sound gate system it has the 10"sub with its own amp. There is a separate digital signal processor/amp and 4 coaxial replacement speakers. Part # for the system for my 2011 FX4 supercrew is BL3Z 18808G. I have been told that Ford worked with Kicker to tune this system to the different cab types. That is why there is more than one part number. The Canadian sugg list was $1438.29 my stock door speakers are now collecting dust on a shelf in my work shop.

The door speakers came with the kit 6x9 Kickers, I think they are KS series. As MCDavis posted this is the big boy kit LOL. It comes with all the wiring harness ty wraps hardware etc. Comes to you in a huge brown box. Ford gives you directions on the box to go to a web site they have for the installation manual. You can tell this was intended as a dealer install product. But The instructions are very well written. It took me about 6 hours to install everything taking my time. I did try the factory stock door speakers and they did sound better but wow what a huge difference with the new Kickers.

You can't purchase just the Kicker Amp/Dsp by itself! If you already have the Factory Sony Stereo, it won't work in your truck anyway! Only Kicker Component you could use is the Sub stage Sub!

The complete Sound gate system comes with four 6x9 Kicker coaxial speakers the 10" sub with amp and the DSP and all the hardware to install everything. I did try the stock door speakers and yes they sounded better but as I said not nearly as good as when I installed the supplied Kicker 6x9 speakers.Check out Tasca Ford parts use PN BL3Z18808G they have it listed for just less than a thousand USD.
