Keyless entry code

Just Curious...
I have my code card, which came with my truck, so it didn't matter to me other than I was curious and thought this would be good info to have at some later time.
However, my research on line and in person with my truck has led me to believe the following:
On trucks earlier than '09, the number apparently could be found on some sort of black box behind the rear seat and up against the back wall of the cab. There are no such black control boxes to be found on the '09-later. I checked behind the rear seat and behind the felt liner up against the rear wall. Nothing.
Next, I looked up under the dash at every label with a number on it, to the left, right, and the middle, under the dash near the steering column and the e-brake assembly, and everywhere else; and could not find any numbers which matched my 5-digit keypad code. I also looked under the hood, and inside both fuse boxes, and no codes anywhere. However, my back now hurts and my neck is sore.
In looking at multiple other online sites, I cannot find one person who has discovered the location of the code on an '09 or later version F150; other than suggesting it [may] be behind the rear seat or under the dash near the steering assembly.
If Ford still has a secondary code for the keypad on the newer version/model of the F150, it is obviously hidden somewhere else; other than any of the suggested locations or other obvious locations.
Maybe it is on a tag on the inside of the oil pan?

funford,
Did you also read in the manual and on the code card that after entering the 5 digit code and unlocking the driver's door, pushing the 3-4 button will unlock all the other doors?

$40??? all they are going to do is hook it to a scan tool and look it up. sometimes that don't even work. i had the keypad added afterwards with all oem parts. had to have it reprogrammed to make it work. my brother is a mechanic at the dealer, so free for me. call ford's customer service. that's my 2 cents.

Make the Nissan dealer pay for it because it should have come with the truck. If you can't use the keypad, the truck has has a defect and they should pay for the "repair" because they sold it.
