I have a 09 f150. Dealer wants $40 TO RETRIVE IT FOR ME. Is there a way to get this code other than going to the dealer?

Not sure about the 09s but on the 04-08s the code is on the modular mounted the the back of the cab behing the rear sear. take the rear seat out and take a look, at most you will lose 10 min of your time

Either behind rear seat, or under dash....

Apparently, it us usually a white sticker with rather small ##s, almost always starting with a *1*

Something that I just learned about these keypads that you guys may already know is when getting out of the truck, press the last two buttons on the right simulaneously and it will automatically lock all the doors. This is so some bozo can't be sitting in the parking lot next to you and steal the signal from your remote keyless entry key when you hit the lock feature. I thought this was pretty neat!

Yup.. I use that feature all the time...It's also a great feature to leave the truck running when you wanna slip in somewhere real quick.... or warm it up somewhere and stay inside... lock with keypad and it stays safe and alarmed...

If you cannot find it, $40 isn't that bad for the dealer to pull it for you.

Can I ask a question w/o sounding jerky? How do you have a 2009 truck and do not know the keyless entry code? Isn't the card with the code on it in the owners manual packet?

If you bought this truck new and have the owners manual, the keyless entry code should be on a card inside the Black binder.

I bought the truck used with 14k miles. it did not have the card with it. The Nissan dealer I bought it from could not retrive the code.
