If I got a platinum, the first mod I would do is finding a new tailgate w/out the aluminum thing across the back ...

on a more serious note ... I would add at least 35% tint to the front windows, if not 20% to match the factory tint. I would add a tool box to the bed (which I have) ... but seems MOST around here prefer some kind of bed cover.

Also, since you're looking at a toneau cover, then you should consider a rubber bed mat in lieu of the bed liner (if you don't really beat the hell out of your bed) ... Here's a link to one:

Amazon Amazon

I know DeeZee makes one too for about half the price, but not sure about fit/finish/quality.

Thanks for your opinions guys . I'll have to check out the Line-X, which seems to be very popular choice . I'll check out the covers too but I'm leaning toward the Bakflip VP or Fibermax.
I'm interested in the tailgate lock mod.
Please tell me more or post the link ?
Thanks again. !

I have a BAK g2 retrackable and love it. It sits flush with the bed. Also have just a mat for the floor. If you need something for tools, check out the swing cases.

I'd recommend getting that center console lid covered in leather with a nice Platinum logo on it....

I second that....I went with a 2" Level for the front and 3" blocks for the rear. I went with 305/55/20 for the tires though! Came out looking sweet .....IMO

Is that 3" block total? Or a 3" block stacked on the factory block?
