Just noticed this today-image-1019559874.jpg
Getting ready to head on vacation next week. Just noticed this when I got out of the truck. It's a 2011 fx4 5.0 3:73. Anyone else had this issue and might know what it is

it looks like oil seepage. really nothing to worry about unless you literally have dripping. you can always remove the cover and replace the gasket. also check your vent tube. could be clogged causing the gasket to leak.

Looks like a minor leak/seep of some type of fluid. Next step is to discover what the fluid is. No puddling wear the vehicle is parked? Doesn't look like a big concern.

Looks like rear diff oil seeping from the vent. Not a big deal. I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a long trip like that.

Check the oil in it. Add if need be. Check the vent as suggested. Then degrease/clean the whole thing, and watch it. Should become obvious.

It might be a good idea to have your dealer take a peek, fx4searles; I wouldn't want this to worry you while you're on vacation. How many miles are on the truck?
