Is it just me, or do our trucks take forever to warm up?

I installed a remote start that warms/cools the cabin long before I ever get in so no help here except to say it's working as designed.

My truck does seem to take longer to warm up than any other vehicle I have owned. The engine temperature seems to warm up like any other, but it doesn't really start blowing hot air until I start moving down the road. Kind of lame, as the truck lives outside and needs to be warmed up at least 6 months out of the year.

10-12 minutes before it starts warming up is not normal. If you guys are really waiting that long then I would get it looked at. Especially if it's in the garage, too, at 42*.
My truck is a 2012 and it's been anywhere from 5-25* every time I've started it the past 10 or so mornings and I'd say it takes a max of 4-5 minutes to warm up.

Mine seems to start sending warm air pretty quickly. Much faster tha my old 7.3.
But it does take a long time to get to the normal operating temp on the gauge.
Just my .02

What do I care, I got remote starter. Set at 15 minutes and it takes about 10 to get warm air going. My trucks outside, what the hell do people expect in sub freezing tempatures,, If you stood outside all night how long would it take you to warm up after coming inside..geez people. if it bothers you that much then install a block heater.. Is this something to really bitch about..

Eh, is fine for me. Takes me about 5 to 7 as others have said. I mean, sure, going from truck being off in 10 degree weather to freakin' toasty warm? No, but in that 5 to 7 minutes it blows hot air, and then begins warming up the truck in earnest.
