Well I went ahead and updated mine. Played around with it for a minute and noted zero changes. Whatever changes there were must be pretty subtle. Whether or not it will solve my bluetooth audio streaming stuttering with my iphone5, time will tell.

Was this the big update they have been mentioning on the site? I it's a significant update I would have expected it to be 3.7 or something like that. Not a third digit revision.

The site says save the file to a USB stick. Can do the update with an SD card instead? My truck has both SD and USB but I don't have a USB stick handy.

Yea this is the first update in a while and this is the mentioned August 2013 release. It wasn't a 3rd digit revision. 3.5.x to 3.6.x.

The 3.6 update is exclusive to vehicles equipped with MyFord Touch.

You can use an SD card, but we recommend using a USB.
