Thanks for all the nice comments. I gotta tell you I really have never obsessed this way about a vehicle before. I keep on finding myself drifting back to the forum while I am working looking for ways to improve the little things that would make it look better. It is funny. I guess it is a good thing I work from home some days.

I looked at the bullrings and it looks like a viable option to put there instead of a drill hole. I am concerned about making a larger hole in the rail so soon after I got it though. I think it would be just for looks though since the most I plan on hauling is wood working trash and plywood and boards. I can't see yet how having the forward bull rings would help in those cases.

I would keep that toolbox in the garage for a few weeks you may find how helpful they are for stashing things you don't want to leave out or slide around the bed or things you don't want inside the truck.

Nice truck

Nice truck! I'd get the Bullrings... the tie-downs inside the bed are fine in most cases, but I wish I had something to tie to on top...

Nice score! I would put an undercover on it or another bed cover that covers the rails. Not fond of the bull ring look myself. Otherwise I would just put a large flat washer held down with an anchor bolt and plasti-dip or paint flat black to minimize appearance. Again nice score with enough warranty left to fix any issues!

sell the box and take the the money and buy new plastic rail covers. may find some for sale on this forum. sometimes when you put a topper or cap on they remove these.

I like that idea. Do you know how hard they are to install? I guess I would need to find out how much they cost as well since the tool box was only worth $150 new and it probably worth $75 now.

Maybe I only have enough for the Bull Rings. I do have a router. Hmmm...

Here's a thread with more threads inside talking about removal. Lol. And it looks like AutoAnything has them. They are a vendor on here. Go to the vendor showcase and browse some of their websites. Lots of stuff to spend a crapload of money on, because......you know you have to have it. Haha.
