Default Lift required for Toyo 38x13.50

Would 9 inches of lift be enough to clear a 38x13.50 Toyo MT? Wheel would be 20x10 fuel lethal with -12 offset. Thinking about running the stage3motorsports 8" lift with the 1" body lift from f150lifts.

From what I've seen on here while doing searches on lift/tire sized people barely for 37's with an 8" but I'm not sure with 9". There would need to be substantial cutting and trimming. Just curious what engine and gears do you have?

Trying to decide between standard 6" and 35's or 8-9" and 37 or those 38's. Truck is a 2014 STX crew. If I go with 37's I will run 4.88's.....truck is a 5.0

You should be able to do 38's with a 9 inch and some cutting. I'm running the stage3 lift with Toyo 37x13.5's. A little rubbing with no cutting.

And you're going to do this with the 5.0 and what gears?

I will most likely stick with 37s and just the 8" kit. Not crazy about the idea of a body lift. 4.88 should get me back better than the stock 3.55 set that is in the truck now.

I've done a couple 6" pro comp stage 2 kits cranked up on 0mm offset 22x10s and 37" Toyo mt with minor trimming. The lethal 20x10 -12mm offset (D56720009850) should clear with minor trimming, don't run the -24mm unless you wanna break out the sawzall or airsaw. Both the -12mm and -24mm wheels have a 3.5" lip so aesthetically they won't be different unless you want that wide stance (throws quite a bit of shi* on your truck though).

Haha Thanks, man! 37's look perfect on the kit IMO. None of the pictures ive taken with my phone do the truck justice. Yeah, I'm not a body lift fan either. Definitely get a build thread going when you start. I'd like to hear your feedback of the 4.88's with the 37's. I'm looking at the 4.88's or some 4.56's.
