Default 2014 Ecoboost Major Oil Leak

Noticed a puddle of oil under my dads truck and I crawled underneath to discover this right after a 1,300 mile trip:

WTF. Has anyone seen this before? The oil level is reading below minimum so it’s been leaking for a while. I peeked around the engine bay and there was some residue on the bottom drivers side:

Any ideas?

Due to having a similar issue, I have learned there maybe a few different items to check, but start with your basics.
1. Was the oil changed recently? Maybe the filter is loose. (My bet.)
2. There is an oil cooler above the filter near the oil filter. (Below the alternator)
3. Maybe the oil tube assembly is leaking? The two torx bolts on mine have oil dripping from them so I'm plan on replacing the whole assembly.

I had that happen on my 2011 5.0, turned out to be a bad oil filter gasket.

Change the oil, put a new filter on it and clean it up real good. Then see if it continues.

Oil life monitor is at 43% however the truck has not been driven much.

Since there is no oil on the hashmarks on the dip stick, would it be stupid of me to drive it 5 minutes to my dealer? Or should I grab some cheap 5W-30 and pour some in there?

Let me put this is a not so rude way.....
Do you really think its work not putting some oil in there??? You should ALWAYS put oil if its low before driving. Why risk it??
