Default Weird radio/speaker issue

I put aftermarket amp for door speakers, new door speakers and tweeters, all Panasonic, and an amp and sub in my 2014 150. All works fine for awhile. A little while ago, I noticed that the sound was mainly coming from the right side. Great, I thought to my self, now I get to dig into the dash and would. Probably find a loose wire on the little amp I put in there. But then I changed the channel and it worked fine. So then I started playing with it. I only get about 7 stations I listen to here on the Big Island in Hawaii, the two I like the most only play on the right speakers. But the other 5-6 stations work on all the speakers just fine. Weird. Why would some stations work correctly and others mainly play on the right speakers? Any ideas before I start digging into it?
On the two channels I have problems with, if you adjust the speakers to come from the left only, it is really faint, you have to turn it up a lot to have it sound as loud as the right side. But on the stations that work fine, it is even on both sides.
Thanks,

Gary

Does any other input work ok, too? Bluetooth, USB, whatever your stereo has.

Are those 2 bad radio stations related to each other? It could be their fault. We had one of our major 4 TV stations here have audio problems for years when surround sound started being broadcast. Sometimes they still pop up with issues on certain programs.

Spiky, I think you are right. I tried my wife’s 2016 Highlander it it was the same thing. On the truck, everything else works fine. The other inputs sound so much better though. I have sent the station an email. See if I get an answer back.

it is weird that the three that do that are the stations on either side of this one. The rest are fine.

You might be amazed to learn how many radio stations are interconnected with ownership and possibly even physical location in the 21st century. What one does, the other does.
