Default Interior Trailer Lights wont work--2013 F150

Have a 2013 F 150 with towing package. I just picked up a 2011 4 place blizzard snowmobile trailer. The interior lights worked for them with an older truck, but won't with my 2013. I did have the running lights on. I would think with the "tow package" all the correct fuses and relays would be connected, but you never know. Does anyone know which fuse or relay number I should look at. OR, what else might be the problem?? Thanks!

There should be a fuse and relay in a bag in the glove box to install. I don't remember the slots but if you search you can find it pretty easy. Noone's really sure why they leave it out but they do.

Check your doors and glove box for a plastic bag with a fuse and a relay in it. My 2011 with Max Tow came with them but they weren't plugged in. Your 13 may be the same. They go in the fuse box under the hood, don't remember the positions off the top of my head, but they are noted in the owners manual.

What type of trailer connection is on the trailer? If it is the big round one, there is a spot on that one for charging a battery, but you have to a fuse and relay in place in the fuse of under the hood. The relay and fuse come with tow pkg trucks. Mine was in the drivers door panel, but you should check the glove box and center console as well.

Just a thought

thanks! I will search the doors and center console for the fuses, because they are not in the glove box.

If you got the tow package and didn't get the fuse and relay I would talk to your dealer, they should have supplied them. I installed my relay and fuse when I got the truck, I have yet to put a 7-pin connector to my truck but I don't/didn't want to lose them or have them get damaged.

Just the door pockets. May just have to go to the dealer and tell them you don't have the fuse and relay
